Butanding Watch Project

The third grant from Duke University's Center for Marine Conservation (Duke CMC) through the Oak Foundation continues to spread awareness on whale shark conservation in the Philippines. Regional offices of BFAR, DENR and concerned NGOs were visited including Region 2, 4A, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and ARMM. The project aims to continue to reach out to as many people as possible and encourage state universities/colleges to dwell on research in learning more about this animal.
